Al Doran, CHRP Phoenix Management International

Al Doran is President of Phenix Management Int'l, a Toronto-based management consulting firm specializing in the effective use of technology in the management of human resource information. Until April 1996, Al was Director, Human Resources Management Information and Payroll, at York University (Toronto, Ontario). Al has 30 years of experience in the design, development and application of computer-based information systems with particular emphasis in personnel, payroll and human resource planning functions. In June of 1996, Al was awarded the prestigious Summit Award, the highest award of recognition by the International Association for Human Resource Information Management. Al has recently teamed up with his fellow authors to write a new book, HRMS: A Practical Approach, which was published in January 2000. Al also writes a regular column "Internet and HR" for the Canadian HR Reporter and is a regular contributor to the IHRIM.link magazine, The IHRIM Journal, The HR Professional, Dialogue, and other industry publications. Al is a Past President of the Canadian Association of Human Resource Systems Professionals (CHRSP) and of the Greater Toronto Chapter of the International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM).

Janice Davidge CCL Industries Inc.	Janice Davidge is the Director of Human Resources at the Corporate Office of CCL Industries Inc., a leading packager of consumer products and manufacturer of labels and containers with 40 global manufacturing facilities. Janice was part of the intranet team that was responsible for developing and implementing myCCL. Janice has 20 years of experience in human resources and is involved in various HR associations and committees.
Susan LaRue CCL Industries Inc.	Susan LaRue is Webmaster at CCL Industries Inc. and she has been involved with the launch of CCL's Intranet, myCCL, as well as the re-launch of CCL's external web site. Her responsibilities have included coordination of divisional content managers, web site and intranet teams; content alignment with corporate policies; continuity in the look and feel of the sites across divisions; content manager education regarding the posting process; and promotion of the sites to employees.
John Johnston * Arinso Canada	Mr. Johnston is the Director of Business Development for Arinso Canada.
Timothy R. McConnell William M. Mercer Ltd.	Tim McConnell is a practice leader in the Human Resources Operations Consulting (HROC) practice at William M. Mercer Ltd. Mercer is the world's largest HR consulting firm. Tim has over 22 years experience in HR management, both as a Director of HR and as a consultant. He has spent the past 10 years working with information systems organizations. He is a former part-time professor of HR at Carleton University. Tim is a Past President of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO). He has earned professional designations in HR in both Canada and the United States. Tim's specialty is the application of technology to HR operations.
