Pamela brings more than 15 years of human resources recruitment and executive search expertise to the course, and is a highly regarded leader and innovator in the supply chain management and logistics industry. She serves on the Advisory Board of Directors at the Wilfrid Laurier University School of Business and Economics, as well as on the Humber College Supply Chain Management and Logistics Advisory Board. Pamela has served on the Board of Directors of SCL Canada and has also been the Educational co-chair, introducing supply chain curricula to post-secondary institutions across Canada. Pamela holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Eric L. Couture U.S. Department of Homeland Security

As a representative of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Eric is responsible for trade facilitation and liaison with Canadian businesses and government and for the implementation of commercial and trade programs concerning Canada. In 1989, Eric joined the U.S. Customs Service as an Import Specialist in Portland, Maine and then transferred to Mobile, Alabama, where he served as Senior Import Specialist, District Compliance and Fraud Coordinator, and NAFTA Technical Specialist. In 1995, he was selected to be an International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Customs Service's Office of Strategic Trade. As an International Trade Specialist, he has conducted research and analysis on worldwide trade issues and designed national intervention programs.
While at the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa, Mr. Couture has been discussing border and supply chain security, and transportation and trade facilitation issues with Canadian producers, shippers, distributors and with federal and provincial government offices. Additionally, Mr. Couture has been designated as the Department of Homeland Security's Point of Contact for Canada concerning the Bio-Terrorism Act implementation.

 David Wood Mother Parker's Tea & Coffee Inc.

David has 16 years experience in freight and distribution, the last 9 of which were spent with Mother Parker's Tea & Coffee. While there, his responsibilities have included warehousing, North American transportation, distribution and customs. David is the Team Leader for C-TPAT, responsible for application, implementation and validation. Mother Parker's Tea & Coffee was approved into the C-TPAT program September 2003 and has recently completed the validation process with US Customs.

Industrial Engineer by training with two degrees from the University of Toronto.
Worked for 5 years at Loblaw Companies Limited, Canada's largest food retailer and distributor on various logistic initiatives including network design, facility planning and process improvements. Developed an in-house network optimization model that led to a major overhaul of existing facilities within the network.
Currently working for Exel, where as a Director of Retail Solutions I have had the chance to work with over 60 fortune 500 companies through various proposals and consulting studies. Have studied dedicated and managed transportation models, for companies such as 7-Eleven, Loblaws, Wal-Mart, etc throughout Europe, North America and Japan. Areas of expertise include: transloading, routing and scheduling, carrier management, network design, store delivery and inbound planning.

Brad has worked in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry for 28 years at companies including Procter and Gamble, Coca-Cola Bottling and Parmalat Dairy.
In his various roles as a Plant Manager, Director of Operations and Vice President of Supply Chain, he has developed a practical approach to the transportation and warehousing functions that enable them to perform as key links in the value chain to meet the customers' requirements.
For the past year, Brad has been a Senior Associate with Supply Chain Alliance, a group of industry practitioners who implement Supply Chain Best Practices for companies across North America.

 Bill Denbigh Tecsys Inc.

Mr. Bill Denbigh joined TECSYS Transportation Systems (TTS) in 1990. He was appointed to the position of VP and GM of TTS in September, 2001, responsible for the day to day operations of the TTS division. In 2003, he was named VP of Supply Chain Logistics, using his vast logistics experience to push TECSYS' TMS and WMS offerings to even higher levels of excellence and integration. Mr. Denbigh has been in the logistics IT industry for over 20 years, working for such companies as American Software and Unilever.

 Susan Hall DuPont Canada Company

Susan Hall is the Logistics Manager for E.I. DuPont Canada Company. She joined DuPont in 1999 in the role of Compliance Process Leader and moved into her current role in 2002. Susan has worked in logistics for several large global organizations based in Southern Ontario during her 20 year career. She also serves on the board of the Toronto Transportation Club.

Michael Stolarczyk is currently Senior Director, of Business Development for Exel in their Westerville, Ohio General Office for the Americas.
Mr. Stolarczyk was with the A.P. Moller/Maersk Group from 1988 until 2004 and held various management positions within Maersk, ranging from Manager, International Accounts, with Maersk Hong Kong Limited, to Managing Director, Maersk Agency sro, in Prague, Czech Republic.
In February of 2002 - Mr. Stolarczyk, whose efforts led to the organization's quantum growth in Central Europe, was named as one of Fast Company Magazine's debut list of "Fast 50" global innovators - individuals whose achievements helped change their companies or society.
He is currently on the Board of Advisors for West Virginia University's School of Business. He has held board positions with Ceske Pristavy a. s., Maersk Logistics Czech Republic sro, and Maersk Intermodal Europe sro.

He was born in Marion, OH on June 1st, 1963, and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University in 1986. Mr. Stolarczyk has also studied at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. |
