Ed Roszczka is President & C.E.O. of Punch Integrated Communications. He is a 17-year communications and media industry veteran with managerial and senior executive experience in Strategy, Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Communications. He has led and developed business strategy and integrated communications programs for clients across North America such as IBM, The Home Depot, AT&T, Thomson Corporation, OfficeMax, Pharmacia, Bayer, GE Water Technologies, Carlson Restaurants Worldwide, HBC and others, with a focus on combining external and internal communications strategy. Ed continues to focus on driving behavioral modification and communications techniques to better serve the industry.

Kym Robertson
Consultant

 

Kym Robertson was most recently Senior Vice President of Corporate & Public Affairs at Alliance Atlantis Communications, where she was responsible for Corporate Communications including Publicity and Media Relations, Issues Management, Employee Communications, Industry Relations and Shareholder Communications. Prior to joining Alliance Atlantis, she was Vice President of External Communications at TD Bank Financial Group. She also held various roles in media relations and employee communications in Air Canada's Public Affairs group during her seven years with the airline. Kym holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Concordia University in Montreal, and she gained valuable newsroom experience during a stint as a reporter at the Calgary Herald.

 

Eugene Knapik
Canada Post Corporation

 

Eugene Knapik is the manager of Internal Communications for Canada Post in the Greater Toronto Area. Eugene and his team create and execute communications strategies to enable the success of operations improvement initiatives throughout the GTA. His team has recently worked through a major regional intranet redevelopment to create a flexible tool that is aligned with operations business plans and integrated with regional print publications. Eugene has 18 years experience with Canada Post. His roles have included change management and training development, as well as extensive experience managing plant operations.

 


Lynda Cain
Ontario Power Generation

 

Lynda Cain, BSc, University of Toronto, has over 25 years experience in the Communications and Marketing field working in various positions within Ontario Hydro, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Natural Resources. Lynda is currently a Corporate Communications Specialist at Ontario Power Generation. In each position she has held over her career she has established strong branding strategies and integrated communications to achieve effective results. With a clear understanding of her audiences and their diverse needs she has applied broad communication techniques and tools to projects to ensure communication goals are met.

 


Steve Kee
TSX Group Inc.

 

Steve Kee is Director of Media Relations and Publicity with TSX Group Inc., the company that operates the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange. His day-today work with TSX,and its affiliated businesses focuses on strategic planning, crisis management, issues management and key messages development, team-building and offering seminars and presentations right across Canada. He was instrumental in the communications efforts leading up to TSX Group's Initial Public Offering in 2002, the first stock exchange in North America to take this step. He also helped create the TSX Broadcast and Conference Centre, a multi-purpose high-tech presentation and media facility and home to many of Canada's national television broadcasters. He was a member of the senior management team at Canada's first all-news radio network, CKO, and was also a news and sports reporter with CKEY radio, News Radio, Q107 and CIDC Radio in Orangeville. Outside the office, he coaches rep hockey and serves on several community based boards.

 


Carmine Porco
Prescient Digital Media

Carmine Porco has over 18 years of experience in the areas of Internet consulting, IT management, and software development. His strengths include employee self-service, e-Learning, customer care and Internet commerce primarily in the financial and retail sector. Carmine joined Prescient Digital Media from Cisco Systems where he played a key role in helping Cisco achieve its mandate of stimulating and accelerating the adoption of Internet applications and helping customers succeed in the Internet economy. Prior to joining Cisco, Mr. Porco has held positions with Deloitte Consulting, Quadravision Communications and Canada Life Assurance. He is a frequent speaker on Workforce Optimization, Portals and e-Learning having spoken at numerous conferences throughout North America and Europe. Carmine Porco has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
