CONFERENCE MARKETING MANAGER

Through our numerous conferences, interactive CD-ROMs, Web services, conference reports and more than 40 professional business and legal journals, Federated Press serves the needs of business and legal executives in a wide range of industries.

Federated Press is looking for a Conference Marketing Manager responsible for creating, developing and implementing of our business-to-business direct marketing campaigns.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will take a lead role in:

  • Planning, launching and analyzing mailing list campaigns for business seminars and conferences
  • Coordinating and interpreting the selection and preparation of database lists;
  • Marketing analysis; creating and developing direct mail marketing strategies;
  • Negotiating the acquisition and exchange of database lists with outside parties
  • Tracking marketing plan performance and customer profiles for future promotion strategies
  • Working with our telesales department in promoting our events to specific groups
  • Researching, identifying and building business relationships with industry associations and publications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3 years experience in developing business-to-business direct marketing strategies, Conference, sponsorship or publishing background is an asset
Database list selection and maintenance experience
Good written and verbal communications
Team player with personal initiative, and the ability both to generate new ideas, and get things done
Strong analytical abilities
Solid organizational and follow-through capabilities
Ability to multi-task
